The Great Wave Animated

This was a college project I had aroound 2012. I forgot to post it but basically the objective was to take a classic work of art and animate it. I chose Hokusai's "The Great Wave".

Unfortunately I do not know much about the context of this woodblock painting other than it was meant to depict a storm of sorts across the Japanese seas. Anyway, this college project was very useful in helping me understand animation better.
